About Me

Robert Boyd grew up in small town Arizona. While weeding his parents flowerbed (a chore he never loved), young Rob dreamed of days without weeds and grit. Among dandelion roots and earthworms, Robert created stories: giant tree rats taking revenge on the family cat, Joshua, and a breakfast cereal militia avenging eaten brethren.

Since then, Robert has allied himself with his wife, the Pirate Queen, and two feline guardians of the Big Fluffy Blanket, Persephone and Jesse. Residing in the winter-world of Eastern Michigan, Robert Boyd continues writing tales of giant robots, barnacle love and the pursuit of furry-justice.

And has never weeded another flowerbed.

Living and Loving Through a Friendly Divorce: All about my divorce. The title changed to The RobBlog when I stopped defining my life as "divorced."

Descarte's Lemming: The editors of Divorce360 had bloglength issues. Rather than fight the system, I reposted full length blogs here.

Living the Dream: My Queen and I planned a move to downtown Detroit. I started a blog to chronicle the experience into America's most notorious city. When the move fell through, so did the blog.
